About
I never set out to be a photographer ... it was a one of those times where a seemingly small decision turns out to have an unforeseen impact on your future. The desire to take a class from a charismatic professor led me to select photography as an elective in my last semester at the Journalism School at OU. The passion this ignited led to workshops, travel and a creative outlet I never knew I needed. Now 20 years later I find myself opening a gallery.
My love of design plays a huge part in how I see through the lens. I instinctively zoom in on particular features and bring out a side of things that you don’t normally see, even though you may be looking right at it. I like to think I find the Art in Everyday Happenstance.
